Big Walnut Park – Volunteers needed for design meetings
September 27th, 2009 Posted in NewsThe design of Big Walnut Park continues apace. The TLH CA and Arlington County Parks Development Division needs names and contact information of at least two residents who are committed to working with the Parks Department as it moves from the approved Concept Plan to the Final Design Plan. The volunteers are needed to attend two design group meetings to provide residents’ input on the design and its development.
TLH thanks go to Roberta Fox, who volunteered at the September Board meeting. We are now looking for a few other folks who are interested in helping with the park development. Desirable dates for the first meeting are October 6, 7, or 8 (Tues, Wed, or Thurs), but later dates in October may work also.
