Police Seek Information for Indecent Liberties Case – Man Displayed Obscene Photo to Juvenile

 ARLINGTON, VA-The Arlington County Police Department’s Special Victim’s Unit is investigating an indecent liberties case that occurred in the 3800 block of North Tazwell Street this morning. 

On Wednesday, September 16 at 8:30 am, a middle school female was walking when she was approached by an unknown male.  The man engaged her in conversation and then showed her an iPhone that displayed an obscene photograph. The girl fled the scene and reported the incident to her family and to the police department.

The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male in his early 30′s.  He spoke with a noticeable Spanish accent, had short curly black hair and a medium build.  The investigation is ongoing.

Witnesses can also call Arlington County Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers offers a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. Callers to Crime Solvers do not have to give their names and do not need to testify in court.
