Community Forum re Arlington County Consolidated Plan

TLH CA is invited to participate in the development of Arlington County’s FY 2011 – 2015 Five Year Consolidated Plan (Con Plan).
WHAT’S A CON PLAN? It is a blueprint for:
- developing affordable housing
- preventing homelessness
- ensuring fair housing
- expanding economic opportunities
- improving neighborhoods, and more.
The Con Plan guides policies and uses of County resources to address these important issues over a five year period and involves extensive input from the public.
Residents interested in participating should attend the planning meeting to be held at the Walter Reed Community Center on Saturday, September 26, 2009, 9am – 12:30 PM. This meeting will address needs and strategies for affordable housing, prevention of homelessness, issues related to poverty, workforce development, and fair housing.
