To follow on the successful series of green events in 2006, this year Arlington County is emphasizing the importance of practical action for the planet’s environment with a focus on hands-on topics that will help you build greener, buy greener, clean greener, lower your carbon footprint, and help us all tend to the earth in a more sustainable way – and a few programs to nurture your green mind!
This collaborative community series begins on Tuesday, March 6th with Monique Hanis, who will share her very hands-on experience of installing a photovoltaic array and a solar hot water system in her Arlington home.
