Free Spring Lawn Care Workshops and Soil Tests
February 11th, 2007 Posted in NewsMaster Gardeners with the Virginia Cooperative Extension service will offer free workshops in Arlington and Alexandria offering science-based strategies for keeping your lawns green and our waters clean. Saturday, March 3rd at Mt. Vernon Community Center in Alexandria, 9-12 a.m.

Wednesday and Thursday, March 7&8 at Lee Community Center in Arlington, 7 – 9 p.m.
Plan to test your soil before fertilizing and liming, if you haven’t done so in the last three years. If your lawn service doesn’t test, ask them why!
