- There is another winter volunteer event: Invasive Plant Removal. Sunday, February 4, 2007, 1:00 to 3:00 pm in Barcroft Park, 4200 S. Four Mile Run Drive, Meet in front of the parking garage. Help protect Arlington’s magnolia bog by removing invasive plants and trash. Some tools, gloves and training are available. Long pants, long sleeves and boots recommended. To register call 703-228-6406 or email volunteer@arlingtonenvironment.org.
- The Storm Drain Marking event scheduled for February 25 is canceled.
