Letter from Arlington Police – Suspect Showing Pornographic Images
December 8th, 2006 Posted in Police NoticesDuring the last week and a half we have observed several reports that have come in regarding a White/Hispanic Male that has been approaching high school aged girls in District One and showing them pornographic images on a laptop computer that he is carrying. The subject is further described as being between the age of 25 to 40, approximately 5’7” tall and approximately 170 lbs. The suspect has asked the girls if they like what he is showing them and then he runs off. He has made no attempt to touch or assault the girls that he has approached in Arlington.
The Special Victims Unit is working this case with other entities within the Police Department, including the District One Policing Team, the School Resource Unit and others. The assigned detective is also sharing information with the Sex Crimes Unit of the Fairfax County Police Department, as they have experienced similar cases in the recent past.
We are asking the public to call the non-emergency number (703) 558-2222 if they see the subject or any other suspicious activity. Additionally, we ask the public to contact the assigned detective, Detective James Stone, at (703) 228-4245 if they have specific information related to this case.
